Our Mission

The mission of the Center for Cultural Resources is to facilitate an acceptance of and appreciation for personal and global diversity by and among all people.

CCR's Purpose:

Our purpose is to provide a sound, systematic base for study of unity/diversity within teacher education, focusing on issues of race, ethnic background, social class, religion, history, gender, age, and ability. We also want to encourage a wide variety of teaching strategies in a thematic and culture-focused curriculum.
